COVID TIMELINE

 So here's a slight recap on how we think we may have ended up with Covid and how quickly it can spread. February 14, 2021- We received an email from Makenna's school that someone in her class had Covid so since they were all exposed she would need to be quarantined til February 26th.  Ironically, this was just as the snow/ice storm hit Texas.   During the week of 2/14 through 2/18 we spent a lot of time together as a family since our electricity/water was out due to all of the snow.  I wish I would have been able to document that entire experience because it definitely made us all appreciate the little things.  Heat being the main thing.  Hahaha.  Makenna coughed a little that week but we assumed it was probably just due to allergies and possibly a cold considering the conditions.  We also could not take her to get tested because everything was closed due to the winter storm.  Matt spent most of the days shoveling snow, grabbing firewoo...

Begin Again

  First off, it's been years since I've been back on Blogger.  That said, I'm glad to be back.  What has me writing again?  COVID.  Yes, I'm one of those people who had my life flash before my eyes and realized very quickly how many things I was saddened I never continued doing much after becoming a mother and getting married.  Yes, in that order.  I tried a few times to come back but I would always find an excuse for why I was too busy, etc.  If Covid has taught me anything it is that while life is short you need to be doing what makes you happy with the time you are here.  Which means less time with all the things that do not bring me joy and more time doing the things that do.  If writing is one of those things, why not explore it more.  Maybe I'll even look to write something that can be published someday.  :-)  Baby steps.  Til then, here is my first hello and intro to my blog.  I'll be using it to document ...
